When Miles & I moved to San Diego, we found the most incredible Indian restaurant close to our apartment downtown. Every Sunday, we'd order the most delicious take-out and watch Game of Thrones. UNTIL we called to place our usual order and the line had been disconnected! We immediately drove to the restaurant to find it was permanently closed. Over the course of the next 6 months, we tried every Indian place we could find in San Diego (that had paneer/cheese naan, a Miles-enforced requirement) and none of them quite cut it.
I decided to do some research & figure out how to make it on my own. After quite a few tests, this is it. If you make the recipe, tag me on Instagram so I can see it!
My friend Ginny over at Speckled Bliss asked if it could be made with coconut milk instead of heavy cream & I haven't tried it yet. But, if you do, let me know how it goes!
